Our club was created by a group of genuinely dedicated, sincere enthusiasts to cater for all ages and genders.

It was formed shortly after the Bi-Annual GM Owner’s Day in November 1990 to promote an interest in collecting, rebuilding, and restoring EH Holdens.

The emphasise is a social club where people with a joint interest can get together. Membership is open to anyone who owns an EJ or EH Holden of all body styles, be it standard, modified, show car or daily driver or has a strong interest in EJ & EH Holdens.

The club is a member of the Council of Motoring Clubs of W.A. (Inc), which was set up to represent the interests of motoring enthusiasts. They regularly liaise with various organisations, such as the RACWA and the State Government, who legislate and regulate the use of vehicles.

Aside from the social aspect, the advantages of joining the EH Holden Car Club are trade discounts on parts and service at several automotive outlets and a significant reduction in insurance on your vehicle.

The club actively participates in motor shows throughout the metropolitan and country areas. Casual cruises or attending “pop up” events (Classic Cars & Coffee, Burgers & Bumpers) are more frequent in the warmer months, with lunchtime, twilight and drive-ins being popular in the colder months being orientated towards the social aspect of club membership.

The club also hosts the Sunset at Herne Hill show each year on the first Sunday in January. This event has grown in popularity to now having over 350 vehicles.

2023 is the 60^th anniversary of the famous EH Holden, and the club has many events planned throughout the next two years.
