Club Annual Overnight Stay
The Weekend away for September 16th and 17th is in the planning stages and for those of you that have been to the past 3 that we have organised they are a lot of fun. This year we will be staying just outside of Bullsbrook at a place called the Shetland Chalets. The owner there was very welcoming and the chalets are really nice/clean and some are quite large. There are 4 (1) bedroom chalets with queen size bed and 2 really large family chalets that have a queen size bed plus a single bed in the room plus a huge couch in the lounge room. They do have some more single and double rooms but in order to hold these chalets I will have to put a deposit on them so I will need to know how many people coming so we don’t miss out on them.
The cost of the chalets per night are $135 for the 1 bedroom and $150 for the large family. The place is set on a farm so the cars will be safe and out of prying eyes and it only takes about 25 minutes to get into Bindoon. They also have a huge shed done out as a common room which we can use at no extra cost. They have a pool table and they also have BBQ facilities we can use so we can all chilax after our day cruise that we have planned.
Breakfast will be provided by the club.
In Bindoon over that weekend they are having the Spring Flower Festival which will have lots of activities and things to see and do. We will be parking our vehicles up on the oval on the Sunday morning for the Historic Vehicle Day. From there we will be able to roam around the grounds and check out the activities that will be going on. Plenty on for the families with lots of arts and craft and face painting for the kids as well as bouncy castles.
At this stage I need to know numbers so I can organize what chalets we will need as bookings are essential at this place. So if you want to have a fun weekend with heaps of laughs and things to see and do please let me know ASAP if you are interested.
